We found Jack a cute plastic Tonka truck for $2 and he loves it! What a great gift for doing so well at his pediatrician appointment yesterday.
Jack has grown 3" (now 35" tall) in the last 6 months and has gained 4 pounds (30lb)! He's in about the 50 percentile in height and close to the 70 percentile in weight. The doctor said he's in great shape and doing extremely well. He was very pleased! They also did a mini evaluation of his motor skills and verbal skills and they said he's right where he should be. 
They were surprised he jumped so high and seemed surprised he's come so far in only 6 months. Needless to say I was very happy to hear it all! Truly, God is the One who deserves the compliments. Jack is His child and we're blessed to be given the privilege to parent him!Last night Jack walked a little funny and kept saying 'hurt' and wanted us to kiss his legs where he got 4 shots. I felt so bad for him but he was a tough little guy. He woke up around 11pm and was moaning and just not feeling good. We found out we were allowed to give him some motrin for the pain. I hate seeing him in pain but there was a part of me that loved being able to console him and it made our bond even stronger. He slept well for the rest of the night and is doing wonderfully today in the beautiful weather. So, things are going well and we're all extremely grateful for God's faithfulness.
