Jack and his Newest Cousin

Here are some snapshots of Jack and his new cousin. She's really cute and makes the funniest faces! David looks really cute with her too, no? I threw in a picture of me at the hospital right after the baby was born. I'm kind of surprised I don't look worse as that was about 3:30 pm and I'd been awake since the morning the day before except for about an hour nap. Fun times!

The Fourth

We didn't go somewhere to see fireworks, mainly because we're in the throes of potty training. Sparklers were the main attraction on our rainy 4th of July. We went out to our driveway and had some fun even though there was a constant drizzle. This video was taken right after Jack touched a sparkler that had just gone out. He knew he wasn't supposed to and because of his strong will decided he didn't believe us and had to make sure the end really was hot. He got a little blister on the tip of his finger but that didn't make him fearful of sparklers. I didn't want it to happen but it made him cautious for the rest of the evening which was good.

On another note, Jack now has another little girl cousin. Her name is Giselle Addison and she arrived Friday afternoon. I'll have pictures in another post of a cute little kiss Jack gave her. This time it doesn't look like he's trying to eat her. LOL
